Experience

I am a qualified Cognitive Behavioural Therapist experienced in working with teenagers, adults and groups across a variety of mental health difficulties.

I provide an integrative Cognitive Behavioural approach which means I am also able to utilise a wide range of techniques from other therapeutic approaches such as Person Centered Therapy, Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT) and Mindfulness. I will help you set goals, explore and understand the difficulties you are facing, and develop helpful coping strategies by teaching you the skills you need to become your own therapist.

I attend regular clinical supervision with a BABCP accredited supervisor which allows me to continually monitor and improve my practice, and I work and adhere to their code of practice and ethical principles

Having personally benefited from CBT I know how important it is to find the right chemistry and relationship with your therapist which is why I founded Spire.  I will always provide a confidential, safe, non-judgmental space where you will be listened to, and where we can explore your challenges and make positive change.

I have experience working with:

Anxiety & Social Anxiety Depression & Low Mood Trauma & PTSD
Low self-esteem Confidence building Stress management
Anger management Phobias OCD
Addictions & Substance misuse Relationship issues School issues & Peer relationships
Perfectionism Self-harm Suicidal ideation

I can provide face to face, online and telephone therapy and counselling. I also facilitate group therapy and psychoeducative workshops.
